About Meraki

About Meraki

My name is Jacquie and I created Meraki because I am passionate about providing healthy, nutritious yet satisfying meals to others. We provide ready made meals and catering to Albury and Wodonga.

The idea for Meraki Produce first came to me back in 2002. After 15 years of travelling, working and cooking whenever I had the chance – I finally kickstarted my dream to  supply healthy, delicious and homemade food.

I have always had a passion for all things health related. I studied a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Psychology, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Primary Teaching. I have always focussed on ways to educate people on the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. This included implementing programs such as kitchen garden and kids cooking classes at the schools in which I taught.

Into its third year, Meraki now has an incredible team including Lindy, Heidi, Sky and Bec, who work very hard to create the very best meal for you using the freshest produce. We love being able to share our passion for food with others! With the convenience of the food being ready to collect at our shop on Dean Street you can get on with living your life!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch!

Best wishes,

About Lindy

I would love to introduce you all to Lindy. Lindy has joined the Meraki team (she’s joined me!) and in a few short weeks, has been an incredible asset! She is a qualified chef, having previously held Head Chef positions across various establishments in Albury and Wagga as well as a teacher at Wodonga TAFE. After taking some time out of the kitchen to raise her gorgeous family, Lindy is now ready to once again cook amazing food for Albury!

It is clearly easy to see why we get along so well. Lindy is passionate about cooking healthy, good quality and delicious food. Everything she does is made from scratch, to the highest of standards and above all else, it’s made with love. She genuinely loves cooking and you can taste that in everything she prepares!

The word ‘Meraki’ means; To do something with soul, creativity or love. To put something of yourself into your work. I was very particular with who I wanted to join the Meraki team because they needed to have that ‘Meraki’ belief in what they do. Lindy has this in spades and it is incredibly exciting to see what the future holds for this business. Look out!!!
